Unexpected but highly appreciated and always welcome visit from John Szabo, Master Sommelier from Canada (Wine Critic WineAlign).
And his journalist friends Nadia Fournier (Le Guide du Vin, Canada), Mona Haugen-Kind (Editor VinArena, Norway) and Michael Godell (Critic, WineAlign).
A pleasure to have such wine enthusiasts at the winery for a tasting.

Statement from John Szabo:
"Philipp Oser is making terrific wines from the volcanic Csobánc hill on the north shore of Lake Balaton, Hungary (technically in the Badacsony PDO), in a winery named after famous Hungarian actor Klari Tolnay, whose weekend villa this used to be.
This slightly cooler area a few kilometres from the lake, also with a rare layer of calcareous sands under basalt- derived topsoil, give a particularly sharp and tight edge to mostly Central European grapes."
